European Gay Porn Awards

Voting has closed for nominations for the European Gay Porn Awards in Berlin on May 17th. This is a Web award voted on by fans not industry insiders. The full list follows as well as the EGPA Press release. And my Fav boy Ashley Ryder is up for mucho awards including Best Bottom! But of course!

They’re the two opposite ends of the sexual-performance spectrum, but each one of these guys has put in a stupendous show over the past 12 months to ensure their place in our shortlist for the European Gay Porn Awards in Berlin on 17th May, 2008.

With 14 shortlisted nominations – 8 of which are for their blockbuster, Communion – Hot House leads the field across the board, and their exclusive, Vinnie D’Angelo, is a name that naturally draws the eye amongst the tops. But George Basten – who has recently retired from porn – is an equally popular European and could easily take the award as his parting gift. The irrepressible Tiger Tyson, meantime, is sure to have his eyes on the prize, too; whilst Wurstfilm’s Mats Riem and MenAtPlay’s Julian Vicenzo boast their own sizeable fan-base. All in all, an incredibly tight race from a group of hot studs who know exactly how to give a man a real good time.

Bearing in mind that they’re a relatively small studio, MenAtPlay have done incredibly well to have achieved nominations from Executive Pleasures 1 in both these categories – the beautiful Carl Wylde (donned in suit and tie) serving as their candidate for Best Bottom. But given the strength of the field – all of whom come from Europe in this instance – and the fact that they’re up against über-bottoms like super-twink Alex Stevens and England’s own Ashley Ryder, can they really hope to snatch a surprise victory here? And then of course there’s the devilishly handsome Dean Monroe, not to mention France’s own mega-slut, François Sagat – both of whom are more than capable of drawing out support when it matters. All we’re gonna say is that voting was incredibly tight – just like their sweet little asses!
